High School Teen Dies In Pickup Hoops Game

A memorial service will be held on Thursday for a 17-year-old Naperville student who died while playing basketball over the weekend, NBC5 reported.

Roosevelt Jones III, who was a senior at Neuqua Valley High School, collapsed during a pickup game at the school Sunday night. The coroner's office said Jones died from a condition called "hypertrophic cardiomyopathy", which is an abnormally thickened heart muscle.
