As many of you know I am from Mississippi. First of all....all of my family are alive and well. My two sons and ex-wife live in Hattiesburg, MS which is just 60 miles north of the MS Gulf Coast. They had sustained winds of over 100 mph and widespread damage. They have minimal damage to the house but about 30 trees down on the property. They will probably not have electricity for about a month.

I have had a difficult time concentrating on any thing but the complete destruction that had taken place in the south. I lived on the MS gulf coast in 1969 when hurricaine Camile came through and vividly remeber those events. This is much worse than that was.

We are all very fortunate to work and to have the financial resources to provide for our families. I ask each of you to consider how fortunate you are and to make a contribution to assist those whose lives have been completely destroyed. They have no home....no community....no schools.....no chuch...no employment.
