Denoyer-Geppert Science Company Reinforces SALF School TrainingAugust 30, 2007
Schiller Park, Illinois, 8/30/2007: Save A Life Foundation (SALF) is a recipient of a generous donation from the Denoyer-Geppert Science Company of Skokie, Illinois. Denoyer-Geppert Science Company has donated nearly 2000 medical advisory posters for distribution to schools receiving SALF’s basic life supporting first aid (LSFA) skills training. Each of these posters offers critical information on Cardiac Emergencies, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs), contacting Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Human Anatomy. The information displayed on these posters reinforces and supplements information taught in SALF’s basic LSFA skills training. This September, as part of National Save a Life Month and National Emergency Preparedness Month, SALF National Education Department will distribute these posters to our branches nationwide. SALF Branch Facilitators and Instructors will in turn distribute the posters to schools receiving SALF training. K-12 school children from coast to coast will benefit from these posters and may one day use the information to save a life. ###
