SALF's Homeland Security Press ConferenceSubtitleReturn to the Press Release Index In conjunction with the Illinois Municipal League’s Board of Directors Conference, the Save A Life Foundation (SALF) will be holding a press conference regarding SALF’s role in the states “homeland security” plans. Lt. Gov Corinne Wood will be making a statement, voicing her support along with Illinois Municipal League Ex. Dir., Ken Alderson. Community leaders from across the state are welcomed to share their ideas regarding “Emergency Preparedness” training at the local level. As you know, SALF is responsible for passing legislation mandating that all police and fire personnel be trained in First aid and CPR upon graduation.
