About the CourseIn this course you will learn how to sustain a life, prevent further injury and recognize a variety of emergency situations, along with the proper handling of each. Your personal safety is a key component of all SALF courses, as we don't want to see the rescuer become another victim. Surveying a scene for potential hazards and the use of universal precautions will be stressed throughout. Each student will receive a course take home book and completion card at no additional cost. SALF works closely with Departments of Public Health, Education and Children and Family Services to provide you with a premium service for your needs. CredentialsCourses are reviewed and approved by emergency medical experts who serve on SALF's medical boards as well as state medical agencies. The courses are taught by only emergency medical certified professionals who use these same techniques daily.
