Proclamation Congresswoman Capps Presented to Carol Spizzirri, Save A Life Foundation Founder and President

Congresswoman Capps recognizes the need for emergency preparedness and has proclaimed September as Save A Life Month. The congresswoman presented the proclamation to Save A Life Foundation’s (SALF ) Founder and President, Carol Spizzirri on September 15, 2006 at Monroe Elementary School in Santa Barbara with Santa Barbara Mayor, Marty Blum. Capps faithfully stands with SALF to strengthen our nation’s level of preparedness for the second consecutive year. Spizzirri states, “We are very fortunate to have Congresswoman Capps support the Save A Life Foundation’s mission. Our nation is likewise fortunate to have someone who not only understands our nation’s issues, but also takes action to implement practical emergency responsive measures.”
