Your 2022 Polaris Pro XD has an adjustable electronic speed limiter built-in, allowing up to 35 mph (or 40 mph max when OFF) without any modifications, hardware changes, or risk to the vehicle.
How to Increase Speed to 35 mph (Factory Method):
1) Enter Options Menu: Press and hold the MODE button on the dash.
2) Navigate to SPD LMT: Use up/down buttons to select SPD LMT, press MODE.
3) Enter PIN (default is usually 0000 or check owner’s manual): Use up/down to set digits, MODE to advance.
4) Set MAX SPEED: Select 35 mph (options: 15/20/25/30/35/OFF) using up/down, press MODE to confirm.
5) Exit: The limit persists even after restart.
Key Limits:
– 35 mph (56 km/h): Factory-supported, safe for tires/brakes (DOT helmet required above 30 mph).
– 40 mph (64 km/h) max: When OFF – designed capability, no damage risk.
